Carowinds

Carowinds is a 112 acre theme park, located on the state line of North Carolina and South Carolina near Charlotte. Carowinds opened on March 31, 1973, at a cost of thirty million dollars. Carowinds is owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment. Carowinds features 49 thrilling rides, including 12 roller coasters, Nickelodeon Central, and a waterpark named Boomerang Bay.

If it's an adrenaline rush you're after, then you need to ride Carowinds many roller coasters, including Nighthawk, Flight Deck, Hurler, Thunder Road, and Vortex. The brand new Carolina Cobra will begin terrorizing visitors this season.
