Lakemont Park is an amusement park located in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Lakemont Park opened in 1894 as a trolley park and is the 8th oldest amusement park in the United States. One of Lakemont's most prized possessions is the world's oldest roller coaster, Leap the Dips. It was named a National Historic Landmark in 1996. Lakemont Park is home to over 30 rides and attractions, including the Island Waterpark, two roller coasters, a go-kart track, Mini-Indy Go-Karts, Spins'n Grins Kiddieland, an 18 hole miniature golf course, the arcade, fun games, delicious food, and more.
